With “Connecting E-Commerce” as its motto, the NEOCOM event on 29-30 October 2014 saw two days of intense discussion about future trends, strategies and concepts in the field.  Respected entrepreneurs from the e-commerce/multi-channel retail sectors and numerous international experts shared tips and recommendations, innovative suggestions and exciting insights into their businesses. The industrial backdrop formed by the Alte Schmiedehalle, the Alte Kesselhaus and the Alte Federnfabrik proved a fitting choice for Germany’s flagship event in the e-commerce and multi-channel field. 1,020 congress attendees, 178 exhibitors & partners and 4,063 fair attendees took part.

Attendees included a broad range of leading figures from the e-commerce world, from high calibre keynote speakers such as Ralf Kleber (Amazon) and Porter Erismann (Ex Alibaba) to pioneering managers in the “new retail” field (Michael Mette (IKEA), Rene Marius Köhler (internetstores), Tarek Müller (Collins), Alexander Graf (eTribes), Jens Ullrich (K – New Media), Jan-Dieter Schaap (Parfümerie Douglas), Kevin Gardiner (Macy’s/Bloomingdales) and Klaus Skripalle (Channel 21)) and representatives of innovative startups including Carina Stammermann (myparfum) and Mark Ralea (GLOSSYBOX). Markus Fost from FOSTEC Commerce Consultants gave a lecture on the topic E-Commerce Strategies for Manufacturing Companies.
